What is Fall Creek all about? Our vision can be stated in a simple phrase which carries huge implications:
Knowing & honoring Jesus Christ--
Good news for everyone & all of life.
What we call our 2020 Vision, below, describes in present tense language the kinds of things we believe God would have us reach toward in the years to come. If they grab your heart, we invite you to join us in making them happen!
2020 Vision
We are a vibrant community center with ministries to churched and unchurched couples, women, men, teens and children. We see people coming to faith in Christ as they watch family members and friends changing through Christ's power. People of all ages are discovering their God-given gifts and are using them to advance Christ's Kingdom. Members discover the joy of living with Jesus at the center of everyday decisions. We see ministry taking place in attractive multiple-use rooms, an eating area, and a prayer walking trail.
We celebrate God's presence and encounter his truth in worship services and ministries where hurts are healed, burdens are lifted, and sin is forgiven and forsaken. Our music is energetic and chosen with Fishers' median-age residents in mind. We welcome the arts, believing our Creator is honored with creative expressions of worship and learning.
We enthusiastically invite friends who have no regular church home to come and see Christ with us through ministries that bridge all the way from seeker to mature believer. We see ourselves reaching the community through marriage and parenting classes, conferences and retreats, seeker groups, and intentional acts of kindness done in Jesus' name. We pray with and for our unchurched friends, believing we have the best news they'll ever hear.
We develop leaders who faithfully shepherd existing ministries to growth and multiplication, always looking to launch new ministries aimed at extending Christ's Kingdom. We will model and help our followers pursue a sacrificial and sustainable lifestyle spiritually, emotionally, relationally, financially, and physically. We will plant churches with similar passion in the greater Indy area and beyond.
We believe the best is always yet to come as we hold true to God's Word while stepping out in faith. We thank God for the privilege of living in this area at this unique time. We are committed to ongoing learning, including learning from the past without being bound to it. We advance our mission with clarity, love for one another and a sense of adventure. We do so because God is with us!
